Who We Are
Partnering to help provide educational resources to children and teachers in rural areas of Guatemala.
Each student in our program receives his or her set of school supplies at the start of each year. Since we have started providing the supplies, the area school has seen an increase of 25% more students finishing 6th grade and an overall increase of 20% in enrollment.
Not only has God given us the opportunity to help children with school supplies but also to provide them with shoes and winter clothes. Most children that live in the rural areas wear clothes and shoes that are either torn or too small for them, making it difficult for them to even get to school. Since our founding, we have blessed more than 1000 children with new winter clothes and shoes!

We Support Safe Learning Spaces
Guatemala is one of the poorest countries in Latin America. Nearly 25% of the country’s population is illiterate, ranking Guatemala 174 out of 194 countries in terms of literacy rate. That statistics jumps to more than 60% in the indigenous population. According to USAID, average schooling in Guatemala is a short four years and only three in ten children graduate from sixth grade.
Since we have started providing the supplies, the area school has seen an increase of 25% more students finishing 6th grade and an overall increase of 20% in enrollment.
The children we bless live deep in the mountains and travel to them usually take about 8 to 10 hours. The roads are very narrow and a few are impassable by car, forcing us to walk a short distance to get to the communities.

When God told Wualter to care for the children of Guatemala, after a little resistance on his part, he began what is now a thriving ministry. Leaving his corporate job took great faith, and it is that same faith that has sustained An Angel of Hope and its work for the children.
